your pool chipped, discolored, Flaking? It's probably time for a
replaster. The replastering of a pool and or spa is actually quite a
simple process. The located and condition
of the gunite and or the pool structure will determine the preparation of the
replaster technique. Typically, 1 Stop Pool Pros will remove all of the
existing plaster down to the gunite by either air tools, and or hydro blasting.
Once all of the plaster is removed, which takes typically one day, we will then
replaster the pool which, also takes one day to complete. After the pool
is replastered the pool and or spa we begin immediately filling.
The plaster cures under water and takes about 20-30 days to properly
cure. It is highly recommended during this time to keep the heaters off
as turning the heaters on will prematurely cure the plaster, which will show
signs of discoloration in the future.
